What You’ll Need
Silk or Fresh Flowers (I used silk for this project)
Scissors & Snippers
Foam Craft Sheet (try and select a neutral color to keep it subtle)
Hot Glue Gun (or Floral Glue if using fresh flowers)
Step 1: Cut a piece of your foam sheet. I cut this one a little over the width of the comb and then half the height of the comb. You can really cut it to whatever size you like but I suggest a larger piece and then you can always trim it down after.
Step 2: Run a generous amount of hot glue along the top of the hair comb, then place the foam piece against it. Press and hold till hot glue dries.
Step 3: Start gluing your greenery to the foam. This will help cover the foam up and give a good base to start adding flowers too. Don’t be afraid of layering different greens, creating different textures and depth.
Step 4: Once your greenery is attached how you like, you can start adding your flowers. I would start with the largest flower or flowers you want on the comb.
Step 5: Now you can start adding the rest of your smaller details or flowers you would like.
Step 6: Fill in any holes or cover any of the foam you can still see. Let sit for 15- 30 minutes before use and enjoy!
